Yearbook Quote Power Rankings

I know most high school’s throughout the United States allow seniors to attach a quote to their yearbook photo. Mine didn’t, which honestly was probably a good thing. Coming from an all boys Catholic school I’m sure you could imagine the shit that people would write. I’ve seen some funny ones that I wanted to share with you.

This ones a killer. High school prepares kids for the next step, college, when they really start to become an adult. I love this quote because it cuts deep. Sometimes life gets tough and its difficult to wake up in the morning to face the challenges of the day. This kid offers a reassuring statement that while life does get hard, you have to be harder. He is hard enough to take on the challenges of his life, and erect a winning personality. This definitely isn’t sexual.

Next, this gem really helps others understand what really goes on in the world. Clearly, the earth is flat. There’s no question about it. So this guy chooses a play on words signaling the need to overcome obstacles in the world. He uses humor saying that the earth isn’t flat, which it clearly is, and connects humor with the reality that you need to be strong and persistent to get through life. 10/10 and very motivating.

Now this is the guy you want to have a beer with. You can always retake a class you bomb. You can always do the work later, but you can’t relive the experiences you missed out with your friends. High school and college are the times of your life. You have to be a full time adult after that and those 8 years are the days you still get to screw around like your responsibility free. Make the most of every second and just retake the class later, fuck it.
