Why I Won’t Watch the NBA Playoffs

The NBA Playoffs are underway and I couldn’t be any less interested. While most North American professional sports organizations have an entertaining playoff season, the NBA falls short each and every year. When the Warriors were winning all their championships a few years back, they didn’t even really celebrate. I remember seeing Steph Curry merely raise his hand in the air briefly and begin shaking the other teams hand as if they just won a 20 point game in the preseason.

The NBA has gotten less an less enjoyable ever since super teams came across the league and the best players just chose what team they wanted to play on. It couldn’t be less enthusiastic and I still don’t understand why so many fans find it so captivating. To make matters worse, Kevin Durant’s defense has been a disaster and he is really the face of the league. LeBron and the Lakers missed the playoffs which might be the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. I cant wait to see LeBron become a scrub when it comes to top players all tie because the guy is a joke and doesn’t lead anyone or anything. He just relies on others around him to win and its starting to show. Looking into the playoffs, honestly theres really 3 teams that could win it all. Out of an entire league, to only have 3-4 teams max in contention to win a championship is a joke. Suns, Grizzlies and the Heat are the only teams capable of winning.
