Once again Venmo’s giving its followers a chance to cash in, and with the holidays right around the corner the timing couldn’t be better. In a tweet this morning the exchange giant announced it will be donating $1 to the Make a Wish Foundation for every retweet the tweet gets, maxing out at $500k total. On top of that, Venmo will be granting a select few people’s “holiday wishes” as they broadly put, which could mean anything from money for presents to a some cash to buy a life-size sex doll.
All you have to do to enter for a chance to win the competition is follow their account, retweet the tweet and include your wish and Venmo handle in your tweet. #DearVenmo should also be embedded in your tweet somewhere to make sure the algorithm catches you. Personally I’ll be begging them for the money to go towards a new car to replace my shitty Tahoe, but as it seems so far they just might send you the money for anything you want.
But hey, if you actually are looking into that life-size sex doll thing just make sure you tweet that you’re trying to buy Christmas presents for your kids or something. What Venmo don’t know won’t hurt em’. All I know is my kids really need some Christmas presents (wink wink).
