Ahhh the question thats plagued beer drinkers since the dawn of imbibing. If you could only have beer from a bottle or beer from a can for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

For me, it becomes a question of classiness vs convenience. Beer bottles are so classy, there’s no debating that. It’s near impossible to drink anything from a can in a formal setting. Trust me, there’s nothing trashier than cracking open a can and letting ‘er rip. But on the flip side, cans are ridiculously convenient. Cans are so portable, so flexible. Imagine trying to take 30 bottles of beer on the beach? Whether it’s a 6, 12 or a 30 rack, carrying cans is soooo much easier thank carrying around clunks of glass.
As much as I love drinking beer from a bottle, cans are the universal beverage vessel. From boats, to backyards, to tailgates, cans are universally accepted anywhere. Plus, you can try to be classy all you want, but if you don’t have a bottle opener on you at all times, that bottled beer will remain nothing but untouched. You’re screwed. Luckily, you only need a single working finger to be able to open a beer can. And forget twist off bottles. That removes any element of elegance that glass bottle once had.
Also, beer in a can just tastes so much more… I don’t know how to explain it, crispier? Yeah, crispier. Like this was the beer you were meant to drink. None of that bottle B.S. So crack the tab and let er rip. Cans for the win.
