Two days ago the FDA ordered 3 of the largest nicotine vape manufacturers in the United States to discontinue and pull over 55,000 different products. Why? Because kids well under the legal age of 21 are illegally buying vapes left and right and the FDA blames the fruity flavors available on the market. Now I understand this move completely. Young kids should not be vaping and definitely shouldn’t be encouraged to do so by major e-cigarette companies, but c’mon guys, I like fruity flavors, too!

Strawberry, fruity pebbles, jolly rancher… I love ’em all! Can’t we just at least leave one fruity flavor for us adults with childlike pallets? They could at least leave us mint flavored, right? Wrong! With a ban like this it’s clear that not a single person at the FDA has ever vaped, otherwise they wouldn’t be forcing people to buy flavors like tobacco or menthol. Have you ever met someone who actually likes tobacco flavored Juul pods? If so then RUN immediately because that person’s a psychopath.
Bottom line, there has to be a line. Maybe put the vapes on the top shelf where the kids can’t reach. Maybe crack down on losers who use a fake ID to buy tobacco (seriously, who does that?!) Or maybe, just maybe, leave some fruity flavors for the rest of us!
