Sportsbook Picks for Tonight: NHL Round 2

With the league fully returning tonight from an extended holiday break due to a ridiculous amount of COVID outbreaks the NHL looks to be a decent place to throw some props for tonight’s Tap Sportsbook picks. Last night the Washington Capitals hit big for me with a huge third period win over the Nashville Predators, so let’s see if that luck pours over into tonights picks. Here’s what I got for ya, boys:

picks

Carolina Hurricanes PL -1.5 (-150) – The Hurricanes are up against one of the shakiest teams in the league tonight with the Montreal Canadiens. The Canes were hit pretty hard by COVID protocols losing more than 5 players including star goaltender, Frederik Andersen. Lucky for them Andersen and most of the protocol players will be returning tonight in what’s sure to be a win over the unpredictable Canadiens.

Blue Jackets vs. Predators – Over -5.5 (-115) – The Preds are fresh off a high scoring game last night against the Caps where they alone scored 5 goals in their loss. Combine that with the fact that the Blue Jackets haven’t played a game in over a week and you have a great opportunity to see some fresh legs and high scoring offenses tonight.

Vancouver Canucks ML (+115) – With newly appointed head coach, Bruce Boudreau, taking the reigns of the team earlier this month the Canucks have been absolutely steamrolling their opposition. Currently on a 7 game win streak Brucey boy and the Canucks ain’t stoppin’ for shit, especially not the no-defense LA Kings. Only risk here is the Canucks being on the second half of a back to back, but with their talent level and recent success, compared to the Kings’ shakey December record, I’d throw on Vancouver for sure.

Ride with us, boys. Let’s make some money in the league tonight.
