Sports Betting Picks for Tonight: Hockey Edition

It’s been a while since anyone on this sight has posted picks for you gambling degenerates out there, so I thought I’d do us the favor of stringing together a few of my favorite picks for tonight’s NHL lineups. Keep in mind I’m in no way, shape or form a sports analyst or even remotely someone who understands trends and percentages when it comes to betting. I’m strictly a major hockey fan that understands how the game works, what players and teams are doing well, and game matchups. With that said, here’s a list of picks for the NHL tonight. Ride with me, boys:

New York Rangers -1.5 Puck Line (+125) – The Rangers have been absolutely steamrolling teams since the early weeks of November with what seems to be a strong defensive presence and high scoring offense. Up against the Sharks who have been shaky as of recent I’d say the Rangers hold them to a couple goals at the most, but San Jose will be unable to stop New York’s offense.

Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 (+115) – There’s no money to be made with a straight money line bet, especially with Vegas at -220. VGK’s going up against arguably the worst team in the western conference in Arizona, a team that had a terrible start to the season but has been showing up in big games as of recent. Regardless I think Vegas’s offense will be firing off tonight and there’s nothing Arizona’s defense or goaltending will be able to do keep a decent volume of pucks out of their net.
