‘The Sopranos’ Prequel, ‘The Many Saints of Newark’ Coming October 1st

If you’re a massive fan of the acclaimed mob series, ‘The Sopranos’, then I’ve got some amazing news. Warner Brothers studios will be releasing a prequel film called ‘The Many Saints of Newark,’ a story centered around a young, up and coming Tony Soprano and his powerful uncle, Dickie Moltisanti. So far the first couple of trailers layout very little about the film’s plot, but it looks like the movie will be split following the two characters and their respective roles in the family at the time.

As a James Gandolfini fan it will be cool to see his iconic role of Tony Soprano played out by his son, Michael Gandolfini, a spitting image of his late father and legendary actor. Needless to say I think I can speak for all of us mob movie fans by saying I am absolutely fucking pumped for this to release and can’t wait to fall back into the story of Tony Soprano and his rise to the throne as boss of the Newark crime family.
