By popular demand, mostly because I’m making people so much damn money, we are back with yet another installment of the Tap’s sportsbook picks: NHL edition. After Tuesday night’s 2-1 finish (3-1 if you count my bonus Tampa ML pick) we’re aiming to revive those in the red and keep our boys green for the week. With that said here’s what the NHL guru, a.k.a. me, has to say about tonight’s NHL picks:
Philadelphia vs. Columbus Over 6.0 (-110) – Considering both of these teams have less than stellar goaltending depth, meaning both of the goalies in their arsenals are trash this season, I think this will be a high scoring game easily clearing the 6 goal threshold. The NHL’s been weird with random stints of excellence from goaltenders, but c’mon, we’re talking about Carter Hart and the gang here. Not to mention each of their last 3 meetings have ended at least with 6 goals, all 3 wins going to Philly.
Brad Marchand Goals (At Least 1) (+140) – It’s always fun to throw a risky prop bet in to win some decent money, but with Marchand’s recent performances this one’s fair. The Bruins take on the Caps again, a matchup in which Marchand scored twice the last time these teams met. Considering the rat has 6 goals in the last 5 games I’d say there’s a good chance he strikes again tonight. Maybe throws in a slew foot or two, as well.

San Jose Sharks ML (-105) – This one’s probably the safest bet in the NHL tonight. The Sharks have been putting up a decent record this month going 6-3-1 so far in the last 10 games while the Kraken have done the exact opposite at 1-8-1. Considering the Kraken just broke their losing streak I think they’ll hop right back on another one.
Let’s go make some money, you goddamn degenerates!
