NHL Picks 2/10: Let There Be Bands

Alright boys, recently there’s been some pretty straight forward picks in the league and some not so straight forward upsets. But if there’s anything consistent in the NHL it’s trends. The Senators seem to be good at upsetting top teams while the Capitals continue to trend downward in the rankings. Regardless, we’re going to see if we can make some cash off these trends with tonight’s Tap NHL picks:

Columbus Blue Jackets ML (-120) – I don’t know why but the Blue Jackets are easily one of the most underrated teams in the NHL at the moment. Going up against the extremely shaky and inconsistent Sabres with little to no offense on their side I’d say this one’s a close, single goal win for Columbus… But a win nonetheless.

Colorado vs. Tampa Bay Over 6 (-130) – Both of these teams are having great seasons, not to mention a consistency for high scoring games. Colorado’s offense has been stellar, even in moments without their arguably top performing player in Nathan MacKinnon. Going against Tampa’s unbelievable, and potentially championship-caliber forward depth I’d say this game easily clears the 6 goal threshold.

Tom Wilson Under 0.5 Points (+120) – Again, Tom Wilson is a creature of trends. He’s not one to score on back to back nights too regularly. That being said I think he’s playing a more physical game tonight against a gritty Montreal team. Doubt Wilson scores tonight.
