Last week’s picks were a bit off, I’m not gonna sugar coat it. I will say we still got the winning record overall and the last few days of picks for my degenerate posse have been 6-0. That being said tonight’s lineup doesn’t look that easy to pick. There are a lot of games setup for blowouts, and some that are impossible to make decent money without massive risk. Regardless, we’re doing this thing. Here we go!
PROP – Trevor Zegras at Least 1 Point (-112) – This kid’s been on absolute fire so far this season, especially in this second half. Second in rookie scoring, Zegras has amassed 10 goals and 20 assists in just 38 games this season, something that’s massively contributed to the surprising success of the Anaheim Ducks. I don’t think Anaheim will beat the wildly talented Maple Leafs, though they did just destroy Tampa Bay. Regardless I think Zegras scores at least a point tonight.
Colorado Avalanche ML (-180) – Boston has looked like absolute shit this past couple of weeks, especially in their 5-3 loss to Anaheim this past Monday. Meanwhile the Avs have been doing their thing playing solid all January, even Darcy Keumper has been staying fairly hot for them regardless of his inconsistency. This one will be close and most likely decided by one goal. I’d take the Avs in this one.
Washington Capitals ML (-220) – I have a hard time believing the Sharks stand any chance against a healthy Capital offense at home. Nuff said. Ovi’s gonna go off and the Caps take the W tonight.
