Fall Guide to LA

Today is September 1st in Los Angeles, which means fall is finally here! Can you smell the apple pies and crisp autumn air? No? LA still smells like car exhaust and weed? Well, that’s okay because we here at The Tap Daily have curated a fun fall guide to Los Angeles that will help you celebrate the fall season!

Go Apple Picking. Nothing says fall like bundling up in sweaters and beanies to go apple picking in 80 degree heat. You’ll sweat right through your sweater but at least the Instagram pictures will be cute. After you’ve taken at least 1,000 photos, you’ll realize that all the apples are either rotted or have already been picked, because apple picking season is in early August and you were too dumb to look it up.

Get a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Pop over and support your local multinational corporation by enjoying an overpriced seasonal drink. It’s way overhyped, but people really lose their shit over hot sugar and foam. Especially on double star days.

Go To A Pumpkin Patch. Apple picking was a bust, but you can always go to a festive pumpkin patch in some random parking lot in a sketchy part of town. Spend money on an orange oversized squash only to then watch it slowly rot on your doorstep. That really puts me in the spirit of the season.

Buy Trader Joe’s Seasonal Items. Buy a box of Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Bread Mix and put it in your cupboard next to last year’s apple spice bread mix. Who are we kidding? You’ll never make that, and even if you did, you aren’t a baker, you can’t even make toast right. Honestly, I’d rather eat the rotting pumpkin on your doorstep.

Happy fall ya’ll.
