Evander Kane is on the Market

Evander Kane is a top 6 forward on any NHL team. He has the skill to play in the NHL for a long time and he has proven to be a top 6 talent regardless of his off ice issues. I want him on the Kings badly, but don’t know if it would be the best fit.

For those of you who don’t know about Kane’s past… I’ll fill you in. He has always been a great player. However, he is an absolute booze hound with a terrible gambling problem that he just can’t shake. He almost went to jail for tax evasion and filed for bankruptcy a year ago due to his gambling losses. He is totally the guy you want a beer with, but do you want him on your team?

The Kings are in need of top notch scoring, and Kane can offer that. However, would LA be the best place to house an alcohol filled degenerate gambler? He is shopping teams to go to now, and I know LA is on his list of top options. But I just hope the Kings are willing to take a chance on him.

To save money, he should sell his penthouse suite in Vegas so he doesn’t fly out every weekend and lose all his money. The guy makes over 6 million a year and he’s bankrupt? That has bad news written all over it.

Side note, he has also had a ton of sexual assault allegations too…. so theres that.
