Here’s what’s not cool, there is a critical blood shortage in Los Angeles. Doctors are even having to decide which patients get blood transfusions and which don’t. Here’s whats actually cool, if you donate blood through the American Red Cross this January, you’re automatically entered to win tickets to THE SUPER BOWL.
Hey, if there’s ever been a way to get greedy, selfish Americans into donating blood, this would be it. How sick would that be? And you don’t have to be in LA. Anyone in the country can donate blood and be entered to win “two tickets to Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, along with entry to the official NFL Tailgate, tickets to Super Bowl Experience, round-trip airfare to Los Angeles, three-night hotel accommodations (Feb. 11-14) and a $500 gift card for expenses.”

That is a ridiculous deal. I’ve never donated blood in my life. And believe me, I’ve been hounded with opportunities left and right through various schools, clubs, organizations, etc. And I’ve never thought once about it. Until today. When I saw that a potential chance to go to the Super Bowl was on the table, I started looking for my nearest blood bank immediately. So why not, donate blood. It’s for a good cause and who knows, you just might end up at the Super Bowl.
