Ok so here’s the deal, I love sweets. Desserts are by far my favorite food group. I can’t call a meal complete without a little sweet treat at the end. But my doctor has been telling me I gotta cut back on the endless slices of pie and cake. But screw that! My argument here is that… if a dessert has fruit in it, it’s gotta be healthy, right? Like we can all agree that a chocolate chip cookie brownie may not be the healthiest dessert. But a slice of apple pie has gotta be a superfood compared to that.
Help me remove the stigma that these desserts aren’t good for you. Here’s a list of desserts that we should now, for all intents and purposes, consider “healthy.”
Join me in tossing aside the sorbet and oatmeal cookies and dive face deep into the thickest apple strudel you can devour.
