Dave’s Hot Chicken is an LA staple. there are new locations popping up left and right and the food is awesome. I myself love spicy food minus the toll it takes on me, but its totally worth it. At the end of the day, I get the food I want and toilet paper companies are making a killing.
Dave’s is knows for the spicy and I always get extra hot. The sliders are very good with unique coleslaw. It is very crunchy fro the chicken as well as the lettuce and pickle. I like crunchy so this is very good to me. I have to say that the sauce for the chicken is way better than that bullshit Cane’s gives out. I personally never go to Cane’s.
At Dave’s, the iced tea is better than most and I’m a huge tea guy. Not that I like to deal with tea bags, I just like the tea. the Culver City Dave’s has fire tea and only one homeless person has stolen it from me so I’ve been pretty lucky. Lastly, if you go to Dave’s expect the toast to be brutal. Its not even toast, they just throw in a piece of fucking Wonder Bread and call it a day.
