Aaron Rodgers, an MVP caliber NFL quarterback and resident jackass simultaneously. The newly re-signed Packers quarterback was caught on video earlier this week throwing a football at a kid after getting frustrated by the “gloating” in the moment from his opposing team. The moment came after Rodgers threw a goal line interception in what looks like a mini scrimmage with a bunch of young players utilizing Aaron’s legendary arm and experience to help their own game.
For Rodgers I’d imagine he had a major PTSD episode to this year’s playoff loss at home against the San Francisco 49ers. Rather than staring down 250 lb linebackers he was up against 150 lb teenagers with acne covered faces. But that made no difference to Rodgers, a true competitor, who let the play get the best of his emotions. Was it a playful outburst? Or did he actually get frustrated by the kid gloating after the interception? I’d like to think the latter, but you decide.
